Community guidelines

These guidelines apply to discussions, comments, profiles, and links shared on Devex. By registering, you agree to follow them.

Respect people. Examine ideas.

Disagree with an approach, tool, or piece of code. Explain why and address the argument. Harassment, humiliation, threats, hate, and sharing personal information without permission are not welcome.

Provide context, not just a conclusion

Explain what you tried, what happened, and how you checked it. Disclose AI assistance when it matters to understanding the work, and take responsibility for what you publish. Do not present a test you did not run or a result you did not measure as completed work.

Protect information and respect ownership

Do not upload passwords, API keys, other people’s personal information, or code you are not allowed to publish. Remove sensitive details from logs and screenshots. Credit the source when you build on someone else’s work.

Disclose commercial connections

You may share something you built when it is relevant to the conversation. Say if you work for the company, sell the product, or receive compensation. Avoid spam and repeated promotion that adds nothing to the discussion.

Hebrew and English are both welcome

Choose the language that helps you explain clearly. Use examples and explain abbreviations where practical. Do not dismiss people because of their experience level or how they write.

Publishing and moderation

New discussions and comments wait for approval. Site administrators may request changes, decline publication, remove content, or restrict accounts that violate these rules. Moderation supports a relevant, safe conversation; approval is not verification of every technical claim.
